Target III
We went to Target again today. When fronted with the usual question of which doors, I gave my usual answer of green. Myles said he wanted to go in the blue doors. I thought what the heck? So I said, "Okay, lets go in the blue doors!" Myles, being... well... 2, said, "I want the green doors!" He cried in the parking lot and stopped in the entryway of the store REFUSING to pass through the unholy blue doors. I tried the "fine, I'll just leave you there" tactic, but that backfired and I got several dirty looks for leaving my toddler in the entryway of the store. I mean really. Have you people never wanted to leave your two-year-old somewhere? I finally drug him in kicking and screaming when I realized we had ALL broken the cardinal rule of Target shopping. Which is: Never. Ever. Wear a red shirt when shopping at Target. Ever.
